Kitchen Renovations
Kitchens are the Heart of Every Home
When you choose to move forward with us, know that you are in good hands.
Kitchens are not only one of the most celebrated spaces in a home, but also one of the most practical. While they are certainly vital to the daily rhythms of life, they also serve as a hub for people to come together. Kitchens are where memories are made, traditions are passed down, and where families and loved ones connect. That being said, kitchen renovations can be the most difficult home project of all. Not only do they present the challenge of unavoidable disruption to daily life, but there are also a host of choices to be made by the homeowner when it comes to the many different materials, styles, and design choices when creating the new dream space.
If you are considering a kitchen renovation for your home, we encourage you to watch the short video below. Zac will guide you through the things to keep in mind and prepare you for the process ahead. It is an exclusive peek into the first conversation we have with potential clients who are looking to renovate or build a kitchen.
Kitchens can take anywhere from four to eight weeks from start to finish, depending on size and detail. As always, ZN Construction’s top priority is our client’s satisfaction. Scroll on and take a look at some of our incredible completed kitchen projects!
Complete Kitchen Renovation in Avon
Our clients in Avon had a major water leak in their kitchen and used the opportunity to do a complete renovation. The overall layout remained similar, with the addition of a double oven on the side wall, and a custom built-in pantry in the mudroom. While the floor plan remained the same, it is difficult to believe it is the same space – see for yourselves!

Kitchen Renovation in Avon
This beautiful kitchen renovation is in Avon, Connecticut. The home’s original kitchen was installed when the home was built and the cabinets were falling apart. After finishing the design process, we built the new space that our clients had envisioned. After seeing what the kitchen looked like, our clients had us come back to install shadow boxes and additional trim throughout the first floor entry and dining room, completely upgrading the look of the space to compliment their new kitchen!
A Beautiful Complete Kitchen Renovation in Farmington
This was a full gut renovation, we adjusted the layout of the kitchen and opened the room. The result was a total transformation from a dark, narrow space to an open, light one complete with a multi-use island that the family naturally gathers around. Our client selected cabinets from New England Cabinets and stone countertops from Stone Valley – both located in New Britain.
Incredible Kitchen Transformation in Canton
Another full gut renovation, we removed a dividing wall, and continued the hardwood floors into the kitchen which opened the floor plan to the rest of the living space. The additional counter space along the side wall and the addition of the island creates much more working space and allows a natural area for family and friends to gather.
